I am Leela Mathur. I have made many fast microwave cooking recipes. I have given my recipes to my friends in Canada and U.S.A. and my friends have enjoyed successfully using these recipes. I have the pleasure to share with you the following two recipes:

Pista Burfi

Ingredients

Three cups of 2% powder milk
250 ml whipping cream
One cup grinded Pista (Pista grinded to make it in a rough powder form).
Three quarter cup sugar
Edible silver foil (optional)

Method :

  1. Mix powder milk with whipping cream in a microwave safe bowl.
  2. Put the bowl in the microwave for three minutes on high power setting.
  3. Take the bowl out and mix the ingredients thoroughly. Mix in ground Pista and sugar.
  4. Place the bowl again in the microwave for three minutes on high power setting.
  5. Take the bowl out and pour contents in a flat Thalli or pan.
  6. Spread the contents to make a 1 inch or desirable thick slab.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes.
  8. If desired, apply silver foil on top of the slab.
  9. Cut with a sharp knife in square Burfi shapes.

Khoya - 3 Minutes Microwave Recipe

Ingredients:

Three cups of 2% powder milk

Method :

  1. Mix powder milk with whipping cream in a microwave safe bowl.
  2. Put the bowl in the microwave for three minutes on high power setting.
  3. Take the bowl out and mix it thoroughly. Khoya is ready.
