I am Nalini. I live in Mesa, Arizona with my hubby Swami and daughter Anjali. I recently discovered Bawarchi. I think I speak for all your fans when I say that Bawarchi has become as essential to our kitchens as salt is! I would like to share the recipe of Melting Moments with all of you.

Melting Moments (Biscuits)

Ingredients

All purpose flour 150grams
Baking powder 1/4 teaspoon
Butter 120 grams
Sugar 90grams
Half an egg
A pinch of vanilla
Cornflakes (coarsely powdered) 50grams

Method:

  1. Mix All purpose flour and baking powder till both are evenly blended
  2. Mix butter and sugar in another bowl
  3. In yet another bowl, mix the egg and vanilla
  4. Proceed to add this mixture of egg and vanilla to the sugar and butter
  5. Add the mixture of Allpurpose flour and Baking powder to the above and mix till a thick paste is formed.
  6. Cut the thick paste into small pieces (select the shape that you want) and roll each one in the coarsely powdered Cornflakes and place it on a baking tray at a distance of 5 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 12 minutes in the oven under 350 degrees Fahrenheit

The biscuits are ready to be served!
