Fish Koliwada

Ingredients

500 gms salmon (in india my mom used to use pomfret/surmai/rawas)
1 1/2 tsp Salt
1 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
1/2 tsp Blush tandoori color
1/4 tsp Ginger paste
1/4 tsp Garlic paste
1 tsp Garam masala
100 gms Besan
1/2 tsp Jeera powder
1 tsp Amchoor powder
1 tsp Ajwain
Very little water

Method:

  1. Clean and wash fish add haldi and salt keep it for 1/2 hour.
  2. Mix all the above ingredients except fish make a thick consistency.
  3. Wash fish under water and add it to the batter leave it to marinate for 1/2 an hour. Deep fry in hot oil to reddish brown color, sprinkle with chaat masala and lemon juice.
