Shahi Paneer

Ingredients

Onions - 2 (medium size)
Tomatoes - 2 (medium size)
Cashew nuts - 10 (soak it for 15 minutes)
Green chillies - 2
Oil - 1 tbl. spoon
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tea spoon
Corriander leaves
Garam masala - 1/2 tea spoon
Corriander powder - 1 tea spoon
Chillie powder - 1/4 tea spoon
Turmeric - 1/4 tea spoon
Ginger - small piece (grated)
Paneer - 1/2 lbs.

Method:

  1. Cut onions, tomatoes & chillies into small pieces
  2. Cut paneer into triangular pieces
  3. Heat oil in a pan.
  4. Put cumin seeds & then diced onions & chillies
  5. After 3 minutes add ginger, corriander powder, chillie powder, cashew nuts, salt & fresh corriander leaves
  6. After 2 minutes put tomatoes
  7. Cover it & cook until raw smell goes & tomatoes are fully cooked
  8. Leave this mixture for some time so that it cools down
  9. Grind this mixture to a smooth paste
  10. Again put this paste into a pan and add some water.
  11. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  12. Put paneer pieces into it & garnish with corriander leaves

Serve hot with nan or chapatis.
