Hi,
My name is Roopa Vonkarey and I live in Dallas, TX. Because of time pressures at work, I do not get to spend as much time cooking as I would like to. As a result, I am always on the lookout for simple and fast recipes. Here's one such. Hope you all like it.

Egg Biryani

Ingredients

4 boiled eggs (cut into pieces)
3 cups basmati rice (steamed)
1 medium-sized onion (chopped)
1 tsp ginger paste
1 tsp garlic paste
1/2 tsp clove-cinnamon powder mixture
Chilli powder (as per your taste)
Salt (as per your taste)
1/4 tsp jeera

Method :

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add the jeera, ginger and garlic paste. Fry for a short while.
  2. Add the chopped onion. Fry till oil separates.
  3. Add spices - clove, cinnamon powder, chilli powder and salt to taste.
  4. Mix in the rice and the eggs.

Its now ready to serve.
