Dal Makhani
Ingredients
Maa Ki Dal(Black Dal) : 1/2 cup
Rajma : 1/2 cup
Turmeric pwdr.1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Onion : 1med.
Tomato : 1 med
Ginger, Garlic Paste : 1/2 tsp each
Curd : 1/2 cup
Milk : 1/4 cup
Butter : 1/2 tbsp.
Water to cook dal
Method :
- Wash & Soak Dal for 1 hr.
- Keep for boiling with salt & turmeric in pressure cooker with steam.
- Let cook on Hi heat for 1 whistle & then put it on low . Do not cook dal full i.e dal should't mix with water fully but should be soft.
- Cut the Onion & Tomato into small pieces.
- Put all the other ingredients into Dal & boil till dal gets mixed
properly.
- Just before serving Garnish with little butter & corriander leaves.
This dish is served as main in main meals also called MAHARANI DAL.
