Palak Paneer

Ingredients

Paneer - 1 lb
Spinach / palak - 1 bunch
Green chillies - 4
Turmeric - 1 tsp
Milk - 1 cup
Onion - 1
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Dry red chillies - 2
Oil - 5 tsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Salt - acc to taste

Method :

  1. Microwave or boil spinach with onion, green chillies, salt, turmeric, ginger garlic paste. Cool and grind it.
  2. Now take a pan add oil and fry the paneer pieces till golden brown.
  3. Drain on a paper towel.
  4. To the same add dry red chillies, cumin and mustard seeds and allow to splutter.
  5. Now add in the spinach paste, milk and mix well. When it starts to thicken then add in paneer pieces and mix.
  6. Check the salt and serve hot. Goes well with chapathis, puris and naans.
