Palak Paneer
Ingredients
Paneer - 1 lb
Spinach / palak - 1 bunch
Green chillies - 4
Turmeric - 1 tsp
Milk - 1 cup
Onion - 1
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Mustard seeds - 1 tsp
Dry red chillies - 2
Oil - 5 tsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Salt - acc to taste
Method :
- Microwave or boil spinach with onion, green chillies, salt,
turmeric, ginger garlic paste. Cool and grind it.
- Now take a pan add oil and fry the paneer pieces till golden brown.
- Drain on a paper towel.
- To the same add dry red chillies, cumin and mustard seeds and allow
to splutter.
- Now add in the spinach paste, milk and mix well. When it starts to thicken then add in paneer pieces and mix.
- Check the salt and serve hot. Goes well with chapathis, puris and naans.
