Mint Pulao
Ingredients
Basmati rice : 500 gms
Ghee:100 gms
Bayleaves and Garam masala:to taste
Ginger, Garlic and Chilli paste:2 tbsp each
Yogurt/Curd:1 cup
Chopped Mint leaves:1 cup
Salt:to taste
1 bunch Mint leaves for garnishing.
Method:
- Soak rice in water for an hour and then drain.
- Put a wok on fire and add ghee.
- When hot add bay leaves and garam masala.
- Add ginger, garlic and chilli paste and simmer.
- Add mint leaves, salt, water and the rice.
- When the water starts boiling lower the flame and let the water dry.
- Take out of fire, garnish with chopped mint leaves and serve hot.
