Paneer Butter Masala
Ingredients
Paneer- 250 gms [cut into cubes of 1 in. each]
Green Peas- 1/2 cup
1 medium size onion paste
Ginger paste- 1 tsp.
Tomato puree- 2 tbsp
Kasoori methi- 1 tsp
Turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp
Red chilli powder -1/2tsp
Salt- to taste
Magaz seeds - 2 tbsp [Magaz is dried melon seeds]
Milk- 1 cup [add 1/2 cup of milk with magaz and make a fine paste]
Butter - 2 tbsp
Method:
- Heat butter in a non stick pan.
- Add onion and ginger paste, and fry till golden.
- Add all the dry masala and tomato puree and fry for two minutes
- Add paneers and peas and fry for some time
- Add magaz paste and rest of the milk
- Cook on low heat for 5 minutes
Serve with Roti or Naan.
