Paneer Butter Masala

Ingredients

Paneer- 250 gms [cut into cubes of 1 in. each]
Green Peas- 1/2 cup
1 medium size onion paste
Ginger paste- 1 tsp.
Tomato puree- 2 tbsp
Kasoori methi- 1 tsp
Turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp
Red chilli powder -1/2tsp
Salt- to taste
Magaz seeds - 2 tbsp [Magaz is dried melon seeds]
Milk- 1 cup [add 1/2 cup of milk with magaz and make a fine paste]
Butter - 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Heat butter in a non stick pan.
  2. Add onion and ginger paste, and fry till golden.
  3. Add all the dry masala and tomato puree and fry for two minutes
  4. Add paneers and peas and fry for some time
  5. Add magaz paste and rest of the milk
  6. Cook on low heat for 5 minutes

Serve with Roti or Naan.

Cooking time : 20 minutes
Serves : 4 persons
