Hi,
I'm Priya Narayan again, with another exciting recipe for an evening snack. When I made this the last time, I heard my family rave about it. I love to cook fast and come up with surprises. Hope you enjoy cooking and eating this dish.

Chatpatta Corn

Ingredients

Sweet Corn Kernels - removed from the cobs - Giant, Richfood - 1 pack
Fresh Grated coconut - 3 tbsp.
Halapeno peppers - 1 or 2 finely chopped
Cliantro - few leaves, chopped fine
Lime juice - 2 tsp.
Salt to taste

Method :

  1. Heat up 2 tsps of oil in a wok. Add 1 tsp of mustard (optional). After it splutters, add green chillies and fry them.
  2. Add the corn and stir well on high. Let the water dry up. ( frozen kernels have some amount of water on them.)
  3. Add coconut and lime juice and mix well.
  4. Garnish with cliantro and serve.

Goes well with Masala Peanuts and Red Wine / Thai Beer.
