Palak and Dal
Ingredients
2 cups cut Palak
1 Onion cut finely
1/4 cup Tur Dal
3 Green Chillies
2 tablespoon cut Coriander leaves
1 tablespoon Grated Coconut
1 tablespoon Tamarind Juice.
1 tablespoon crushed Garlic.
Salt to taste
Oil 1 teaspoon.
Method:
- Pressure cook the dal, palak and the onion for 2 mins.
- Then grind together coriander leaves, coconut, chillies, and tamrind juice with 1/2 cup water. Add to the cook mixture of dal and palak.
- Boil for 5 minutes. Add salt.
- Then in another pan heat oil and add the crushed garlic, stir for a minute. Add the cooked mixture of palak and dal to it.
- Boil this curry adding 1/2 cup water for 5 minutes.
