Mooli-Gajar Paratha
Ingredients
One big Raddish peeled & grated.
Two medium Carrots peeled & grated.
1 small piece of Ginger grated.
1/2 tsp Ajwain
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
1/2 tsp Red Chilli powder
1 tsp Green Chilli finely chopped.
2 tbsp.finely chopped Green Coriander Leaves.
Salt to taste Oil for frying.
For dough:
Take whole Wheat Flour & water & knead it as we knead for normal roti.
Method :
- Take grated raddish in your hand, small quantity at a time and press it with your palms to remove all water to make it dry. Do the same with remaining raddish & with carrots too.
- Now mix raddish, carrot, ajwain, black pepper, red chilli powder, green
chilli & coriander. Don't mix salt.
- Make a small roll from the dough & flatten it in a way so that center
of it will be little thick.
- Take 2 tbsp. of mixture in separate plate & mix a pinch of salt to it &
promptly stuff it in that flattened roll.
- Flatten it with very light hand rolling & put it on hot tawa. Keep it
on medium heat so that it can cook well. Turn it after 5 seconds. Cook it
little from both sides, then put oil on tawa and fry it both sides till
golden brown.
- Serve hot with Curds & Butter.
