Srilankan   Dish

Ingredients

half Kg prawns
0.25 oz garlic
0.25 teaspoon tumeric
a few sprigs curry leaves
1.75 teaspoon of salt
1" Cinnamon
2 cloves
125 grms Onions
2 dessertspoons green chillies ground coarsely
2 bay leaves
1teaspoon lime juice
2 dessretspoon oil
2 cardamoms

Method

Wash and de-vein the prawns well.
Slice onions evenly, chop garlic fine cut bay leaves into pieces.
Heat the oil and when very hot add curry leaves and bay leaves.
Then put in the onions. Toss till onions turn light brown.
Add rest of the ingredients till prawms are well cooked and hard.
serve hot.
( This can be kept for a few days too, but warm before serving to enjoy its spicy flavour ).
