Microwave Basic Sponge Cake
Ingredients
Eggs 2
Maida 3/4 cup
Sugar 1/2 cup
Baking Powder 3/4 tsp
Milk 2 tablespoon
Vanilla essence 1/2 tsp
Method:
- Sieve flour and baking powder together. Keep aside.
- Powder the sugar.
- Put sugar and eggs in a large mixing bowl and mix it throughly.
Beat well in the mixie by using the reverse button. Beat it for 5 minutes
- Remove from the mixie and add maida and baking powder.
- Mix the flour on one direction only and add essence to it. Mix it fully and finally pour the mixture in to a greased plate. Instead of cake tin we can use glass bowl also.
To Bake:
- Keep the cake mix inside the oven.
- Keep the oven in "Crisp Mode". (This is very important)
- Cook it for 6 minutes at 850 watts.
- Cool it for 10 minutes and remove from the tin.
