with my husband Raju. I have learned the following recipe from my
mother. This is a very simple yet very tasty dish. This is my friend
Revathi's favourite dish.

Vaangya Cha Bhareet
Ingredients
2 Big Brijals
1 Large onion finely chopped
4 Dry Red Chillies
4 Green Chillies
Yogurt
Corriander Leaves
Curry Leaves
Salt to taste
Jeera
Mustard Seeds
Method:
- Cut the brinjals into regular size pieces.
- Heat 2 tsp oil in a pan, fry the above brijals pieces till
they get cooked. Make sure that they don't get burned. Keep
it aside for some time.
- Take sufficient fresh Yogurt in a bowl.
- Add the cooked brinjals, finely chopped onions and green chillies.
- Now heat 2 tsp oil in a pan, put mustard seeds, when they splutter
add jeera, dry red chillies and curry leaves. Add this seasoning
to the above and garnish with fresh corriander leaves.
- Add salt and mix well.
Enjoy!!!
It goes perfectly with puris, chapatis and bread.
