Hai, This is Vidhya again from Hong Kong. This time I wish to share with you
a very simple salad, made with bitter gourd. I'm sure those who do not like
karela would definately love this salad. Happy cooking!

Karela Salad
Ingredients
1 lb Karela
1 tbsp Lime Juice
Red Chilli Powder
Salt to taste
Oil for frying
Method
- Wash and slice the karelas into thin rounds. You could use a chips cutter
for this purpose. Apply salt and leave it for an hour.
- Drain out the water and sun dry it for a couple of days.
- Heat oil in a kadhai and fry the dried karelas till golden brown. (Do not
deep fry)
- Sprinkle red chilli powder and mix well with lime juice before
serving.
- Garnish with finely chopped fresh cliantro and onion.
