Mushroom Pakoras

Ingredients

1/2 lb Portabella Mushroom sliced
1/4 Cup vinegar
1/4 Cup fresh lemon juice
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Cracked black pepper or 1/2 tsf of dry italian seasoning
1 Cup Besan
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
1 tsp Coriander power
1 tsp Red chili powder
1 tsp salt
Oil to fry

Method:

  1. Wash the mushrooms, in a bowl add vinegar, lemon juice, salt and black peper (or italian seasoning), add mushrooms to it and stir the mixture well and leave it for 20 min.
  2. In a bowl take Besan, add salt, turmeric, coriander and chili powder and mix it. Add 1 cup of water and make thin pasty mixture.
  3. Heat oil in a Pan.
  4. Take out the mushrooms from the marinade and add to the bowl of besan mixture.
  5. One by one soak the mushroom strips in besan and fry until golden brown.

Serve hot with ketchup.
