Mushroom Pakoras
Ingredients
1/2 lb Portabella Mushroom sliced
1/4 Cup vinegar
1/4 Cup fresh lemon juice
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Cracked black pepper or 1/2 tsf of dry italian seasoning
1 Cup Besan
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
1 tsp Coriander power
1 tsp Red chili powder
1 tsp salt
Oil to fry
Method:
- Wash the mushrooms, in a bowl add vinegar, lemon juice, salt and
black peper (or italian seasoning), add mushrooms to it and stir the
mixture well and leave it for 20 min.
- In a bowl take Besan, add salt, turmeric, coriander and chili
powder and mix it. Add 1 cup of water and make thin pasty mixture.
- Heat oil in a Pan.
- Take out the mushrooms from the marinade and add to the bowl of
besan mixture.
- One by one soak the mushroom strips in besan and fry until golden
brown.
Serve hot with ketchup.
