Kheema Kofta Curry

Ingredients

Ingredients for the Koftas:

Kheema-1/2kg,
Ginger paste-2tsp,
Garlic paste-2tsp,
Cloves and Cinnamon-1/2 tsp,
Green chillies-5,
Chutney Dal - 1/4 cup (powdered)
Onions- 1 big chopped fine
Salt-to taste
Coriander leaves

Ingredients for the Gravy

1/2 cup chopped Coconut
Ginger+Garlic paste-2 tsp
Onion- 1 cut

Method :

  1. Grind the kheema, the green chillies, cinnamon and cloves once in the mixie and then mix the rest of the ingredients mentioned for the Koftas. Now make small balls.
  2. Take a little water in a pan and put the kheema balls. Cover and cook for about 10 minutes.
  3. Take another pan and add 2-3 tsp of oil. Let it heat and add garam masala, onion.
  4. Fry and then add paste of coconut, red chilli powder, ginger+garlic paste. Fry it for a while. Add water to make gravy. Take care not make it too thin.
  5. Now add the Kheema balls and boil for 1/2 an hour.
Serves : 4-5 people.

Serve with rice.
