I am Letha and I stay in CA with my husband Shailesh. I find your site interesting and I have tried almost all the recipes. Methi Pappad Sabjee

Ingredients

1. Methi - 1 tsp. Soaked in water for one hour.
2. 2 big masala pappads broken into pieces.
3. Jeera - 1 tsp
4. Tomato - 2 big sliced
5. Curd - 1/2 cup
6. Turmeric - 1/2 tsp
7. Dhaniya powder - 1 tsp
8. Chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
9. Salt to taste.
10. Water - 1 cup

Method

  1. Heat oil in a pan. Add jeera fry little then add the soaked methi after draining the water completely.
  2. Fry for 2-3 minutes and then add tomatoes and curd. Fry again until the water of the curd is completely evaporated.
  3. Then add 6,7 and 8, fry for one second. Add water and bring to a boil.
  4. Now add the pappads and salt. Boil until the pappads are done.

Serve hot with Ghee rice (made of basmati rice).
