Hi everyone,
I am Falguni Parekh from Indiana living with my hubby Prashant and 2 yr old son Kunaal. I am a frequent visitor of this site and cooking is my hobby. This is my first contribution and am sure you all will enjoy it as we do. Feel free to send me your comments/questions at falguniprashant@ivillage.com

1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
1/2 tsp Chilli powder
Salt as per taste
1 tsp Dhania-Jeera powder
1 tsp Garam Masala powder

Method:

  1. Wash spinach in plenty of water and pressure cook it. When cool, blend in the mixie/blender to make a paste.
  2. Chop the onion and keep aside
  3. Grind tomato, elaichi, ginger, garlic and green chilli to a paste.
  4. Boil the potato and dice it.
  5. Heat oil, add onions and fry till golden brown. Add the tomato paste and cook till oil separates. After that add the spinach puree, diced potatoes, and all the remaining masalas and cover it and simmer on medium flame till oil floats on top.
