I am Usha Kumar. I live in Roanoke, Virginia, USA with my husband and two daughters. This recipe can be used as a snack with your evening tea. So that your ripe bananas don't go wasted.

Banana Bread

Ingredients

2 cup All Purpose Flour
3 medium ripe Bananas
2 Eggs
1 cup Sugar
1/2 teaspoon Baking Soda
1/4 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Vanilla Essence
1/2 cup or 8 tablespoon Margarine or Butter

Method

  1. Sift the flour, soda and salt together.
  2. Cream together butter and sugar thoroughly. Add eggs (one at a time), beating well after each addition.
  3. Mix dry ingredients with other ingredients
  4. Blend the bananas in a mixer. Add bananas and vanilla essence.
  5. Pour into a greased loaf pan.
  6. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
