specifically for students living in the US or anyone who needs a quick
satisfying meal. Deepali says, this homestyle GP is better than the
one they sell at Wendy's :-)

Garden Pita-Homestyle
Ingredients
One big tomato
One small green pepper
One small onion
One small can of beet root
1/4 small cabbage
Handful of coriander leaves (to taste)
+ any other vegetables that you like
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Lemon juice to taste
2 teaspoons sugar
Chat/sandwich masala to taste
Pita bread or Onion nan (recommended)
Method
- Cut all the vegetables as desired.
- Ofcourse, the beet is ready to use from the can.
- Add salt, pepper, lemon juice, sugar and chat masala to taste.
- Mix the salad thoroughly.
- Microwave a pita or onion nan for 1-1/2 minutes.
- Place desired quantity of the salad in the pita/nan.
- Roll the bread around the salad and enjoy the great tasting Garden
Pita-Homestyle.
Duration:
15-30 minutes depending on how fast you can cut the vegetables!!!
Servings:
You could have upto 4 garden-pitas with the quantity of vegetables
mentioned above.
