Mexican Rice
Ingredients
2 cups Rice
1 cup Cabbage, shredded;
5 flakes Garlic, crushed;
2 Onions sliced;
2 Capsicums, sliced;
6 tbsp Oil;
3 tbsp Soya Sauce;
1 tbsp Chilli Powder
Salt to taste
Method
- Boil the rice with salt. Each grain should be separate.
- In a broad vessel, heat oil and fry the onions till golden brown. Keep
aside.
- In the same oil fry capsicums for a minute. Keep aside.
- Then fry cabbage for 2 minutes. Keep aside.
- In the remaining oil fry crushed garlic for a minute.
Add soya sauce, chilli powder and salt. Stir, then add rice , onions, cabbage and capsicum. Mix well.
Serve hot with Hot Sauce. Its a great dish! Enjoy!
