Hello!
Here's a simple and quick recipe for the in-between binges, by my friend Seema Sureka and me (Priti Wadher). Happy gorging!

Corn Sandwich

Ingredients

Bread Slices --- 12 Pcs
Corn ---- 2 cups
Capsicum --- 1 cut into fine pieces
Onion ----- 1 big, cut into fine pieces
Oil/butter ---- 1 tbsp
Coriander leaves
Chaat Masala
Salt and Pepper to taste.

Method

  1. Heat the oil/butter in a non-stick pan.
  2. Add the onions. Fry till light brown. Add capscium and corn. Cover it, and let it cook till corn is tender. Add chat masala, salt and pepper.
  3. Take the bread slices, butter them. Spead the above mixture. Sprinkle coriander. Cover it with another slice and toast it in a sandwich toaster.

Alternately you could also cook it on a tawa till golden brown on both sides. Your corn sandwich is ready for you to bite it.

Makes: 6 Sandwiches
