Hi folks!
I'm Priya Subramanian from New Jersey here's yet another recipe from me - its BADAM MILK BURFI. I surprised my husband with this delicious sweet, one pleasant evening, when he got an award at work. He just loved it and wouldn't stop eating it! I'm sure all you sweet-toothed folks out there would love it as much as my husband and I did!

Badam Milk Burfi

Ingredients

1) Besan or gram flour - 1 measure
2) Grated Coconut - 1 measure
3) Milk - 1 measure
4) Finely crushed Almonds (Badam) - 1 measure
5) Ghee - 1 measure
6) Sugar - 3 measures

Method:

  1. In about 1/2 measure of ghee, slightly fry the besan till there's no more raw smell left.
  2. Add all the ingredients including the crushed badam and the leftover ghee.
  3. Go on stirring continuously over medium fire for about 20-25 minutes. Once the mixture starts leaving the sides and becomes difficult to stir, add elaichi.
  4. Now immediately pour the mixture on a greased plate and cut into pieces of your favourite shape!

Decoration (Optional):

To add more glamour to that already yummy burfi, decorate by placing Pistachios/Cashews on top of each of the cut pieces.
