Hello there everybody!

Quick Macaroni

Ingredients

1 cup shell macaroni.
1 large sized Onion
Garlic Paste 1/2 tsp or 2 to 3 pods of garlic
3 medium sized Tomatoes
3 Green Chillies
1/4 tsp Red Chilly Powder
2 tsp Cream
1 tsp Butter or any vegetable spread.
2 tbsp Tomato Ketchup or Sauce
Salt to taste.
Sugar 1/2 tsp.

Method :

  1. Boil macaroni in water, adding a little oil and salt, till it becomes soft.
  2. Strain the macaroni and run it under cold water to seperate them
  3. In a pan, pour a tsp of any vegetable oil, and fry the finely cut onions till light pink in colour
  4. Grind the tomatoes, garlic, and green chillies, finely.
  5. Add this puree to the fried onions. Add the red chilly powder, cream, butter, tomato ketchup, salt and sugar. When it is done, add the macaroni and after stirring it well, cover the pan and keep it on very low flame for about 2 to 3 minutes.
  6. Serve hot.

Variation:- Instead of macaroni, plain left over cooked rice can also be used , to make it tomato bhath.This can be served with potato chips and can be even packed for lunch .Tasted good hot as well as cold.
