Egg Flower Soup

Ingredients

3 Eggs
3 cups Vegetable Stock
3 tsp Soya Sauce
1 1/2 tbsp Corn Starch
2 clove Garlic (finely chopped)
1 small Onion (finely chopped)
1 tbsp Sugar
1/2 tsp White Pepper
Salt to taste
1 tsp Butter

Method:

  1. Fry onion and garlic in the butter. Add soya sauce, stock to it.
  2. Now add sugar, salt and pepper and boil for 5 min.
  3. Beat the eggs with little salt and keep aside.
  4. Dissolve corn starch in 1/2 cup of water and add it to the stock. Stir continuosly to avoid forming lumps. Cook till it becomes thick.
  5. Finally add the egg mixture stirring very slowly. Immediately egg forms like a flower.
  6. Serve hot in a soup bowl.
