Hi!
I am Veena. I've contributed some recipes earlier. This is my recipe. Everybody liked it. Hope you enjoy it too. You can reach me at Vvnk@cs.com. Enjoy!

Paneer Jalfrezi

Ingredients

Fried Paneer- 1 pack
Capsicums- 2
Onions-1
Tomato paste- 1 tin ( Small)
Green Chilli- 4-5
Red Chilli powder- 1/2 tsp
Garam Masala- 1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds- 1/2 tsp
Ginger paste- 1/2 tsp
Oil- 2 tbsp
Sugar- A pinch
Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Cut the veg. into thin long slices. Julienne them.
  2. Put the frozen fried panner cubes in hot water and soak it for some time. Change the water again and put it in hotwater till it defreezes. This will also rinse away excess oil in the paneer.
  3. Pour 2 tbsp of oil in a pan and add the Cumin seeds, Onions, Capsicums, Green chilli and Ginger. Keep the stove in high. This is a stir fry method. Fry it just for a few min. until it becomes tender.
  4. Add the masalas sugar and salt. Fry for some time. Now add the Tomato paste.
  5. Once the oil starts coming out it's cooked.

If you wish to add water a little to make sure it cooks well its fine. Relish it with Rotis and Paratas. Happy cooking!

Cooking time: 10 mins.
