Fried Green Beans with Tofu
Ingredients
1/2 lb Green Beans, cut into an inch long pieces. (you can substitute frozen french-cut beans)
1/2 Block Tofu, crumbled
1/4 tsp Mustard seeds
1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
3 - 4 cloves Garlic
1/2 tsp grated Ginger
1 tbsp Oil
Salt to taste
Method:
- Fry mustard seeds in hot oil till they crackle.
- Add garlic and ginger
followed by turmeric. Fry for a few seconds. Add beans and stir fry till
cooked, but still a bit crisp.
- Add tofu, gently stir. Add salt to taste.
Can
be served with Rice or Rotis.
