Mexican vegetable, idela for salad - Indian style. Jicama is areadily
available in the US super markets. It is yam like root vegetable. It
is simply delicious. Try it.

Jicama Salad
Ingredients
1 Jicama
2 teaspoon lime juice
Salt to taste
1/2 teaspoon sambar powder (optional)
1 teaspoon oil (optional)
Method:
- Peel the jicama and cut long peices.
- Put these in bowl, sprinkle salt and sambar powder.
- Add lime juice and oil, mix well.
- Let it stand for 30 minutes. Serve at room temperature or cold.
