I am Supriya Pathak from Pune, India. I'm a regular browser of Bawarchi.com. Cooking is my passion. I like to try new recipes and today I would like to share with you one of my favourite recipe 'Bread Chaat'. It's quick, easy and mouth watering.

Bread Chaat

Ingredients

1. Bread - 24 slices
2. Tomato sauce - 4 tbsp
3. Curd - 3 cups
4. Salt - to taste
5. Sugar - 3 tsp.
6. Onions - 2 big
7. Potatoes - 2 big
8. Tomatoes - 2 big
9. Bhel sev - 1 cup
10. Tamarind Sauce - 1/2 cup
11. Coriander leaves - 1/2 cup
12. Chilli Powder - 1 tsp.
13. Jeera Powder - 1 tsp.

Method

  1. Cut the bread slices in roundels. Make 12 pairs. Apply tomato sauce on each roundel & sandwich them.
  2. Strain the curd. Add salt & sugar and put in the refrigerator.
  3. Chop onions, boiled potatoes, tomatoes & coriander leaves.
  4. In a shallow plate spread 1-cup curd. Arrange bread pairs on them & add remaining two pairs of curd on them. Add chopped onions, tomatoes & potatoes.
  5. Add bhel sev, tamarind sauce & coriander leaves. Sprinkle little chilli powder & jeera powder.

Serves : 12 persons
