Hello I am Meenal and I would love to share this recipe with all of you. As you all must be aware that dalia is very good for health but people generally are not so found of eating it. Try this recipe and then let me know!. My e-mail is meenal72@yahoo.com.

Porridge Bhel (chaat)

Ingredients

1 cup dalia,
4 tablespoon oil or ghee,
11/2 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, beans, peas),
2 cups water,
Salt to taste.

Topping:

1 tomato chopped finely,
1 cucumber chopped,
1 onion chopped finely,
sweet and green chutneys,
1 1/2 cup sev,
1/4th cup coconut grated,
and coriander leaves chopped finely for garnishing.

Method:

  1. Heat oil or ghee, fry dalia till golden brown.
  2. Add vegetables, water and salt.
  3. Cover and cook on low heat till veg are cooked.
  4. Add lemon juice.
  5. Spread in a tray garnish with topping and serve.
