Porridge Bhel (chaat)
Ingredients
1 cup dalia,
4 tablespoon oil or ghee,
11/2 cup mixed vegetables (carrots, beans, peas),
2 cups water,
Salt to taste.
Topping:
1 tomato chopped finely,
1 cucumber chopped,
1 onion chopped finely,
sweet and green chutneys,
1 1/2 cup sev,
1/4th cup coconut grated,
and coriander leaves chopped finely for garnishing.
Method:
- Heat oil or ghee, fry dalia till golden brown.
- Add vegetables, water and salt.
- Cover and cook on low heat
till veg are cooked.
- Add lemon juice.
- Spread in a tray
garnish with topping and serve.
