Hello everybody,
This is Deepa once again from CA (USA). Hope you have enjoyed my other recipies like Pudina Poori, Ridge Gourd Chutney, Jhat Pat Carrot Chutney. This is my fourth contribution to my favourite site. I regularly visit this site and keep trying out different recipes.

Carrot Pulav

Ingredients

Grated Carrot 1 cup
Ginger paste 1 tsp
Garlic paste 1 tsp
Green Chilli Paste 1 tsp
Garam Masala 1 tbsp
Red Chilli powder 1 tsp
Jeera 1/2 tsp
Salt as per taste
Cooked Rice 1 cup (cooked in such a way that the grains are seperate)

Method:

  1. Put oil in a pan add jeera to it. Then add ginger-garlic-chilli paste and fry for sometime.
  2. Now add chilli powder , garam masala, grated carrot and fry again for sometime till it turns red in colour.
  3. Add cooked rice (which is cooled previously) and fry again for sometime.
  4. Serve hot as is or with any Raita of your choice.
