Cabbage Pulao
Ingredients
Finely cut Cabbage 1 cup
Finely cut Potatoes 1/4 cup
Shelled Peas 1/4 cup
Cooked Rice 2 cups
Grated Coconut 2 tbsp
Red Chillies 4
Coriander seeds 1 tbsp
Tur Dal 1 tbsp
Cashewnuts 5 nos
Oil 2 tbsp
Salt 2 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
Method:
- Soak red chillies, coriander & tur dhal in enough water for
20 minutes.
- Take oil in a flat bottomed vessel & heat it. Add cashew
nuts & fry till light brown, remove the nuts in a plate..
- Add cut cabbage potatoes & peas, & cook adding little
water & salt.
- Grind the soaked masalas & coconut to a fine paste & add to the
cooked vegetables.
- Now add the cooked rice to this mixture and mix well. Add
the fried cashew nuts & serve hot.
