Hi!
This is Mrs. Yogita Mistry. I'm a working mother. My hubby is a product engineer. This is my mom-in-law's favourite dish which I have adapted into my cooking as the preparation time is amazingly low & the dish istelf is tasty.

Soya Bean Chunk's Curry

Ingredients

Soyabean chunks
Green Peas
One boiled & mashed Potato
Haldi, Red Chilli Powder, Dhana Jeera powder
A little grated Coconut
Salt to taste
2 tbsp Oil

Method:

  1. Soak the soyabean chunks in hot water for about 10 minutes. Drain & rinse the chunks well.
  2. Heat oil in a pan on medium flame. Add the chilli powder. When you see bubbles add the soyabean chunks & the peas. Stir. Then add in haldi & dhanajeera powder & salt.
  3. Add some water. Add in the potato & the coconut. Cook for 15 -20 minutes ensuring sufficient water for the gravy.

Goes well with Roti & Rice as well as Rotla's.
