Soya Dish
Ingredients
Soya flakes : 1 cup
Oil : 1/4 cup
Ginger-garlic paste : 1 tsp each
Chili powder : 1 1/2 tsp
Garam masala powder : 1/2 tsp
Grated coconut : 1/4 cup
Chana gram dhal : 1/4 cup (cooked with salt and turmeric)
Onions : 1 finely chopped
Egg : 1
Salt : to taste
Method:
- Put the soya in hot water for around 15 min.
- Take oil in a pan and heat
it. Put the onions and fry for a few seconds, add the ginger-garlic
paste, chilli powder and the dhal and fry well.
- Add the soya flakes and
fry well. Now add the coconut and fry till it is dry , add salt . Allow
the mixture to cool.
- Put the mixture in a mixer and an egg and mix.
- Make
small balls and flatten a little.
- Deep-fry these kababs in hot oil.
- Serve with anything from Rice to Chapattis to Biriyanis. You will
definitely like it.
