Mutter Paneer

Ingredients

Peas 1 cup
Fried paneer cubes - 20 pieces
Tomato puree 1/2 cup
Onions finely chopped - 1/2 cup
Cilantro finely chopped - 1 bunch
Chille powder 1/2 tsp
Jeera - 1 tsp
Garam masala - 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Butter / Oil - 1 & 1/2 tblsp

Method:

  1. Place a wok on medium hot stove. Add 1 tblsp of butter, when it is hot enough add the chopped onions & fry until they turn soft & golden Brown in colour, then add the tomato puree & mix them well.
  2. To this add garam masala, chille powder & mix well.
  3. Then remove them from the stove & let it cool.
  4. When cold put them in a blender adding very little water liquify & blend them well.
  5. We are done with the gravy, which is in a very attractive orange colour.
  6. Now taking the same wok we used before add a little more of butter & jeera,when jeera turns red, add the gravy we prepared & let it boil, now add the peas, paneer cubes, & mix them well, add salt to taste, & garnish it with cilantro.

Serving: Amount mentioned serves for 3-4 persons. Serve it hot with any kind of roti, or Nan
