Hi,
I am Shraddha from Redmond WA. I always visit bawarchi for different recipes. I am sharing my recipe with you for the first time. My recipes name is "Dahi Bread Sandwich ". My husband & me like to eat this very much specially for evening snack. I learnt this recipe from my Didi. I thought, I would share it with you so that you can enjoy it. It's easy to make. Dahi Bread Sandwich

Ingredients

8 Bread slices for 4 sandwich
Curd or yogurt 1-1/2 cups
1 Small chopped onions
1 Chopped Green chili
1 tbsp. coriander
1/2 tsp. red chili powder
1/2 tsp. Sugar
Salt to taste
3 tbsp. Ghee
1 tbsp. mustard seeds

Method

  1. In a bowl take curd or yogurt & onions, green chili, red chili powder, coriander, sugar & salt. Mix it well.
  2. Take a bread slice & spread the mixture on it evenly. Cover it with another slice of bread.
  3. Heat the pan on medium flame.
  4. Fist put 1/2 tsp. ghee & pinch of mustard seeds. Then put sandwich on it. Wait till the bread turns slightly golden brown. Then turn on other side, put some ghee on pan, turn the sandwich & wait till other side gets golden brown.
  5. Serve it hot with Tomato Sauce.

Making time: 15 minutes.
Makes: 4 serving.
Shelf life: best fresh.
