I'm Jyotsna and I live in Boston with my husband Gaurav. I'm a frequent visitor to this site and this is my contribution. I tried this dish last weekend & my husband said "Maza aa gaya!" so I hope you all will also like this. This is a very low calorie dish but tastes yummy at the same time.

Mushrooms Chilli Pepper

Ingredients

400 gms diced Mushrooms
2 Peppers/Capsicum (to make the dish look beautiful use red and yellow peppers)
One big Onion
One Tomato
3-4 small Green Chillies
2-3 tsp sliced Ginger
2 tsp Coriander leaves
1/2 cup cut Corns
3 tsp pepper hot chilli sauce
2 tsp Soya Sauce
1 tsp Vinegar
1 tsp Salt

Method:

  1. Cut thin slices of pepper and mix them with diced mushrooms add chilli sauce, soya sauce and vinegar to mushrooms and peppers, mix it well and keep it aside for 30 mins
  2. Soak corn in hot water for 10 mins
  3. Cut thin long thin slices of onion and ginger
  4. Heat one tsp oil and add diced onions, green chillies and ginger, fry them for 2 mins. Add mushrooms and pepper dipped in chilli sauce, soya sauce and vinegar add 1 tsp salt and cook for 20 mins till the peppers and mushrooms get tender and cooked. Add corns and cook for 2-3 mins.
  5. Decorate it with Coriander leaves and serve with Chapatis.
