my daughter Radhika Suresh and I would like to share it with you

Carrot Halwa
Ingredients
1/4 kg or 1/2 lb. carrot
3-4 cups milk
2 cups sugar
1 cup butter or ghee
1/2 tsp cardomom pwd
2 tbsp. almond, cashew pista nuts grated
silver foil optional
Method:
- Cut carrots into one inch pieces.
- Grind it in the blender with the milk.
- Cook it in the pressure cooker until it is soft.
- Transfer it into a microwavable container.
- Add sugar(you can add more sugar according to taste), ghee and cordomom powder.
- Microwave the contents for about 15 to 20 mts or until the ghee glistns on the sides of the container.
- However you have to stir every 5 mts.
- Sprinkle grated almonds, cashews and pistascio nuts.
- Garnish it with silver foil.
Voila! Carrot halwa is ready without much sweat!
