Hi!
My name is Latha V.Krishnan. I live in Singapore. My hobbies are Cooking, Interior Decoration and Needlework. Before coming to Singapore I was living in Thailand for six years. I would like to share some mouth-watering, spicy thai dishes.

Lap (Thai Dish)

Ingredients

Bean Curd - 4 pieces
Onion - 1
Mint Leaves - 1 small bunch
Garlic - 5 cloves
Soya Sauce - 1 tbsp
Thai Chilli Powder- 1 tbsp
Fresh Red Chillies - 3
Oil for frying
Salt to taste.

Method:

  1. Cut the chillies diagonally.
  2. Slice the onions into thin pieces.
  3. Wash the Bean curd and mash into crumbles.
  4. Crush the garlic. Wash the Mint leaves and remove the stem.
  5. Heat oil in a pan and fry the garlic till fragrant. Add Onions and Bean Curd and fry for three minutes. Add Soya Sauce, Chilli powder, Salt and fry for five minutes.
  6. Add Mint leaves at the end. Serve it hot with Plain Rice.
