Methi ke Parathe and 'Thecha'

Ingredients

For Parathe:
1. Methi ki bhaji neatly chopped
2. Red chilli powder as required
3. Turmeric Powder (Haldi)
4. Salt
5. Besan - 3/4 cup
6. Wheat Flour - 2 cups
7. Jowar Flour - 1 cup
8. Bajri Flour - 1 cup
9. 5-7 Flakes of Garlic

For 'Thecha'
1. Fried Peanuts Grinded 2-3 tablespoons
2. Green Chillies 8-10
3. Ginger
4. Garlic 4-5 flakes
5. Salt to taste

Process:

For Paratha's:

  1. Grind Red Chilli Powder and garlic together.
  2. Mix all the ingredients and the grinded paste and mould into a thick dough.
  3. While making the dough mix 2-3 tablespoons of oil.
  4. When the dough is ready make paratha's as usual.

For 'Thecha'

  1. On a frying pan sprinkle some oil n place the chillies for some time. remove when they start becoming partial brown
  2. Grind these chillies with ginger, garlic, salt and grinded peanuts
  3. Pour 2-3 tablespoons of oil in frying pan n roast the paste for just 4-5 mins

Server Parathas hot with the 'Thecha' n oil
