To my dear saroj aunty hi!!!

Hi, I am Sunita Anil Asser & I am in BOSTON (U.S.A) First I tell u in 1994 first time I took a part in cooking comptition in DUBAI that time i am in DUBAI I came here 6 month's back after my marrige u know I won the first prize for taste, carving & the dish & carving is so neet & clean u know what I make A Bhaji Pullov.

Bhaji Pullov

Ingredients

2 cups uncooked rice (of your choice preferably basmati)
2 cups boiled mixed vegetables
2 cups bhaji (pav bhaji ka bhaji)
1\2 tsp pav bhaji masala
1\2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
2 tsp ghee
1 tsp chopped corriander
50 gms butter
50 gms raisins
100 gms cashewnuts
salt to taste

Method

  1. Boil the rice, each grain of the rice should be separate, drain and cool.
  2. Heat the ghee and fry cashewnuts and raisins, remove both and keep aside, in a same ghee put cumin seeds and fry for one minute then add boiled mixed vegetables for 2 minutes if you like, sprinkle a little hot water, now add bhaji and fyr for 2 minutes.
  3. How to proceed apply a little butter at the bottom of the baking bowl, make layers of the rice and bhaji. (beginning and ending with rice) sprinkle pav bhaji masala, butter, corriander, cashewnuts, raisins. (first put rice and then bhaji and then pav bhaji masala, butter etc....... in layers) cover it and bake it in to a hot oven for 20 to 25 minutes. serve hot with raita.
