Hi,
My name is Asha, I am in NJ, my earlier recipe was Traditional Pongal. This is a quick dish which is a favourite of my husband. Hope you like it!

Jhatpat Pasta

Ingredients

1 cup Pasta (Rotelle) spiral(preffered)
1 cup vegetables (Beans, Carrots, Jalapenos)
1 tbsp of Salsa Sauce
1 tsp Chilli Sauce
1/2 tsp Soya Sauce
1/2 tsp kitchen king Masala / Garam Masala
1/2 tsp Chilli Powder/ Rasam Powder
1/2 tsp each of Mustard seeds, Jeera, Chanadal, Urad dal.
1 tbsp Oil.
Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Boil pasta and vegetables in a dish till pasta turns sligthly whitish at the edges. 2 to 3 types of vegetables are enough , jalapenos if added makes it spicy.
  2. Take oil in a kadai, splutter the mustard seeds ,jeera, chana dal ,urad dal and asafoetida.
  3. Add the prepared Pasta and vegetables and mix well.
  4. Finally Add salsa, chilli sauce and soya sauce, salt and the dry masalas and mix well for 2 mins.

Now your pasta is ready to serve! Best eaten when fresh and Hot!

Cooking Time: 15-20 mins (includes cooking time of pasta)
