Hi, My name is Asha, I am in NJ, my earlier recipe was Traditional
Pongal. This is a quick dish which is a favourite of my husband. Hope you

Jhatpat Pasta
Ingredients
1 cup Pasta (Rotelle) spiral(preffered)
1 cup vegetables (Beans, Carrots, Jalapenos)
1 tbsp of Salsa Sauce
1 tsp Chilli Sauce
1/2 tsp Soya Sauce
1/2 tsp kitchen king Masala / Garam Masala
1/2 tsp Chilli Powder/ Rasam Powder
1/2 tsp each of Mustard seeds, Jeera, Chanadal, Urad dal.
1 tbsp Oil.
Salt to taste
Method:
- Boil pasta and vegetables in a dish till pasta turns sligthly whitish at
the edges. 2 to 3 types of vegetables are enough , jalapenos if added makes it spicy.
- Take oil in a kadai, splutter the mustard seeds ,jeera, chana dal ,urad
dal and asafoetida.
- Add the prepared Pasta and vegetables and mix well.
- Finally Add salsa, chilli sauce and soya sauce, salt and the dry masalas
and mix well for 2 mins.
Now your pasta is ready to serve! Best eaten when fresh and Hot!
