Hi, I am Bhanumathi Ganesh residing at Mumbai. This is one of my favourites.
It goes well with Hot Rice and Tur Dal.

Sweet Sambhar
Ingredients
200 gms Okra - chopped into small pieces
1 tsp Mustard seeds
2 tblsp of Oil
2 Green Chillies
1 medium-sized Tamarind ball
1 medium-sized Jaggery piece
1 tsp Rice Flour
1 tsp Turmeric
Salt to taste
Method:
- Soak tamarind in water and extract the juice.
- Pour oil in a hard bottomed pan. Put mustard seeds and wait till it splutters.
Add the okra and green chilles and fry them, till they brighten.
- Pour in the tamarind juice, add salt, jaggery and turmeric powder. Mix the
rice flour in a little water and pour it into the pan to thicken. Boil it till
the raw smell of tamarind goes away.
