I am Najendra Singh. I am visting regularly on your site. Very mouth watering recipes you got here. I would like to present you with a Indian sweet I usually prepare on festives.

Burfi

Ingredients

Flour - 2 cups
Ghee - 100 ml
Sugar - 20-30 grams
Jawain - about 2 grams(you may be calling different name)
Little bit of Salt

Method:

  1. Mix ghee, flour and sugar together and prepare dough as for roti.
  2. Roll the dough about 3 cm thick.
  3. Cut the rolled dough about 3cm x 2cm in angle eg. /\/\.
  4. Heat some ghee in Karahi and fry the pieces into the ghee till complete brown. Lastly prepare syrup of sugar and water. (the syrup should be thick so that when it is cooled it hardens and look white.
  5. Finally put the fried dough in the syrup and quikly cool it by mixing with a large spoon. Please try this.
