Hello
I am Samin. This recipe is a must for me when in season, a quick and easy one. Here in Canada Sarson-ka-Saag is easily available in Chinese grocery stores.

Sarson-ka-Saag

Ingredients

1. 1 kg chopped Sarson Ka Saag
2. 5 Pods of Garlic Chopped
3. 3 Dry Whole Red Peppers
4. 1 Tbsp Oil, preferably Mustard Oil.
5. Salt to Taste.

Method:

  1. Heat Oil in a Wok or Karhai to the point that fumes are burnt out.
  2. Add Garlic and broken Red Pepper.
  3. When garlic starts to turn light brown add Saag and Salt, stir. Saag is naturally salty so be careful with salt.
  4. Cover and cook until Saag becomes tender and yet little crunchy. Saag is ready. Serve hot. Enjoy with Roti or Rice or just on its own.
