I am Bhanumathi Ganesh. This soup is very good for people suffering from severe cold. I prepared this for my husband when he was having a cold and he found it very soothing.

Cabbage-Onion Soup

Ingredients

1 cup Cabbage
1 Spring Onion
1 inch piece of Ginger
4 pieces of Garlic
1 tsp Butter
1 tbsp Rice Flour
1 tsp Soya Sauce
Freshly ground Pepper
Salt to taste

Method:

  1. Chop the vegetables finely and stir fry them in butter.
  2. Add 2 cups of water, salt and rice flour mixed in a little water.
  3. Add soya sauce, pepper and salt.
  4. Boil it till the raw smell of the flour goes.
