Fruit Cake
Ingredients
1/4 tsp Baking Powder
140 gms Maida
250 gms Dried Nuts (soaked in water for 1 night)
100 gms Butter
2 Eggs
2 tsp Caramel
100 gms Sugar
1/2 tsp Vanilla Essence
1 pinch Salt
1/2 tsp Lemon Rind
Method:
- Beat eggs, butter & vanilla essence until fluffy and add maida
Next add sugar, salt, baking powder, lemon rind and lemon juice and mix
well.
- Finally add the dried nuts & milk.
- In a greased tray pour the mixture and bake 350oC till done.
- Pour the caramel on top and serve chill.
