Japanese Fried Rice
Ingredients
1 tsp Ginger (finely chopped)
1 tsp Garlic (finely chopped)
2 large Onions (chopped )
2 large Eggs
1 Carrot finely chopped
1 Green Pepper chopped
1 tbsp dark Soya Sauce
1/2 stick of Butter
Salt and Pepper to taste
1 tbsp of Red Chilly powder
3 cups of Cooked Rice (jasmine rice preferred)
Method:
- In a thick bottom pan, heat butter and add ginger garlic and onions.
Saute until soft.
- Add carrot and green pepper and saute further.
- Break in eggs and cook scrambled with veg until golden brown.
- Fold in cooked rice with soy sauce salt chilly powder and pepper.
- Fry the rice in the mixture for a few minutes. Serve hot.
